Patients at the heart of what we do

The journey from time of injury to recovery can be a long one for patients and their families, and we know that sadly some patients will not make this. Our Trauma Network want to support those undertaking this journey as much as is possible throughout. Therefore, we need to explore the experiences of patients and their loved ones to see what we do well and where we need to focus for improvement. 

The patient and public engagement group (Trauma East Voices) aims to be a way of bringing together patients, families, loved ones, clinical staff and service managers from across the Trauma Network to listen to each others experiences. Our aim is to use this and other patient feedback to improve the pathway and care provided, and learn from good examples.
